Why we started Nordec
After 30 years inside the industry, the same problem kept showing up.
Peter spent his career selling material-management systems to electronics manufacturers across Europe. Across hundreds of factories, one bottleneck never went away: reel handling.
Operators searching shelves. Wrong reels picked. Inventory data drifting from reality. Modern SMT lines running on top of medieval storage.
Adam joined to bring the digital and operational side — building the product, the integrations, and the company itself. Together we started Nordec to deliver the system Peter had been waiting for someone else to build.
We're not a shelf supplier. We're a material-flow company — delivering the handling, traceability and integration layer modern SMT lines need.
