Overview

The NORDEC Smart Shelf 13"/15" single-sided handles large reel formats on reinforced shelves across the full 8–72 mm tape range. In a four-layer configuration for 8 mm tape it holds up to 448 reels per unit. Single-sided geometry keeps the whole shelf visible and accessible from the line, which suits sites where floor space allows and pick accuracy matters most. LED guidance indicates the position to pick, position sensors confirm removal and placement, and reel locations are registered so stock and sequence stay traceable in the material-management setup.

Step 1

Receive

Scan the shelf or cart and the reel, place it in the position shown, and finish the transaction. The reel is now registered to a location.

Step 2

Request

Select the pick list and the storage unit it should be picked from.

Step 3

Pick

LEDs indicate the required reel positions. The light switches off once the reel has been removed.

Step 4

Complete

The transaction is closed and the picked reels leave the registered locations.
